This Keto Low Carb Pumpkin Pie recipe is going to knock your socks off on how divine it tastes and easy to make. Tastes as good (if not better) than a classic pumpkin pie. Your guests won’t be disappointed!
Last year, I made a low carb pumpkin pie recipe as a crust-less pie. I simply used a 6 x 9 casserole dish to cook the filling in, and it was delicious.
This year though we want something a little more substantial. Since we have a fabulous rocking recipe for a low carb pie crust, I thought this year, I’d have my hand at some keto low carb pumpkin pie WITH CRUST.
HOW MANY NET CARBS PER Keto Low Carb Pumpkin Slice
6 Net Carbs per pumpkin pie slice. when slicing the pie into 8 servings. You can easily cut the pie into smaller pieces to lower the carb count but I was being realistic to what portion my family generally takes when there is pumpkin pie around.
Note: The 6 Net Carbs per slice is by subtracting the sugar alcohol erythritol.
My family does subtract the sugar alcohols and I’ll continue to provide that sugar alcohol grams above the nutrition card below and you can decide for yourself if you want to follow that.
PLEASE do not shame or be mean to others who might do things a little differently. That is not what we are about here.
If you are new to this Low Carb/Keto lifestyle and are unsure what we are talking about please feel free to read up more on Net Carbs and why people do or don’t subtract sugar alcohols.
Powdered Erythritol vs. Granular Erythritol in our Low Carb Pumpkin Pie
- I will say that it’s often better to use powdered erythritol for this sort of thing, but if you don’t have it, don’t worry about it.
- OR pulse some granular sweetener through your blender to powder it. Either way, this is a very tasty, holiday pie!
Now that Fall has officially graced us with her presence I’ve got so many cravings for everything and everything pumpkin. We just had to test out this recipe before the holidays to you know, *cough*, test the recipe out just to be safe. 😉
We’ve got pumpkin freezer bars, pumpkin spice lattes, PUMPKIN EVERYTHING.
There is a good reason for it. IT IS FABULOUS FOR YOU.
What Carbs are in Pumpkin and Pumpkin Puree??
At first you are a little taken aback by the nutrition info on pumpkin. I understand but pumpkin is actually packed with vitamins, minerals AND FIBER.
About half a cup of canned pumpkin has 10 grams of carbohydrates and 4 grams of fiber.Â

Can this pie be made ahead and frozen? Thank you!
Yep! Sure can.
I’m new to Keto but how can this pumpkin pie be only 6 net carbs per slice? It shows on the nutrition chart that it has 32 gm of carbohydrates with 5 fibers. I thought that figured out to 27 gm?
sugar alcohols. Most people (including ourselves) remove sugar alcohols which we go into more details about in this Net Carb post. If you need help in how to calculate net carbs since you are getting started this is a good article that can help. 🙂
Since we only eat Pumpkin Pie once or twice a year, I’d like to use heavy cream, rather than the milk. How would that work?
It is a direct 1-1 ratio. Our recipe goes for both almond milk or heavy cream.
Hi! How far in advance can you make this recipe?
A few days for sure. 🙂
Hmm, not sure about my crust… I made it using expeller pressed coconut oil and subbed tiger nut flour for almond flour (almond sensitive). It came out pretty sticky. Is it supposed to be similar consistency to normal pie crust? Should I have added more four?
Well I’ve never tried tiger nut flour but from my understanding it is EXTREMELY different to almond flour so the ratio most definitely would be different I’d think and based on your results… well year.
Our recipe is extremely similar to a normal crust so…. perhaps someone in our community can help with experience using tiger nut flour.
JUst found you! And your recipes! Happy happy! Pumpkin Pi’s is my favorite Fall pie! Thank you! Can’t wait to make it. Yay! Now I can have it at Thanksgiving!!!

Pumpkin pie being one of my 3 favorite fall holiday foods will now be on my menu! Yay!
Do you have a turkey keto gravy recipe?
Enjoy! 🙂
Oooo you know we have a keto sausage gravy but have a turkey one we’ve used for years that isn’t on the website yet.. We’ll get working on that. <3
Thank you so very much for including the grams of sugar alcohol in your post! I am an insulin-dependent diabetic and my body reacts to sugar alcohols about half as much as sugar (sucrose). I really appreciate recipe pins that include all the info needed for me to keep my blood glucose level from spiking. ?
I’m so happy to hear that it is useful for you. You and the way your body reacts to the sugar alcohols is the exact reason why we list it. 🙂
I’m new to this low carb diet, so could someone do the math and tell me how many NET carbs are in each slice if I was to slice it into 8…
We already provide all that nutrition information in the post and We also provide the Net Carbs in the post specifically for slicing into 8 slices. 🙂 If you are needing some help in getting started our Low Carb 101 page is a fantastic resource along with our How to Calculate Net Carbs post.
