Low Carb Taco Seasoning that will for sure spice up whatever meat dishes you are making. This seasoning is also Keto friendly as well!
Love taco seasoning but don’t love all the crud they put in those packets? You’re not alone! And lets face it, when it’s so crazy easy to make your own, why bother spending extra money on something that’s filled with garbage?
Does Taco Seasoning have carbs in it?
Yes, it does! Our taco seasoning mix has 14 Net Carbs for the entire batch of taco seasoning. Which at first is a little alarming but then realized that you aren’t going to be eating it all at once.
How to use for taco meat.
If you are using this with meat, use at least 1 tbsp. per 1 lb. of meat. You can always stir in more after cooking for a stronger flavor, if that’s your preference. I personally prefer about 2 Tablespoons per pound of meet but I also like a lot of flavor.
I normally have a standard mix that I’ve used for years. But this time, I wanted to try something just a bit different. I wanted to add a slight smoky flavor to the mix, and I’m glad I gave it a shot because this turned out really yummy!
I used this taco seasoning to put over Low Carb Mexican Fries and they turned out so crazy delicious! It was hard to stick to my allotted portions! I’ll be using this for tacos later this week as well and I fully expect them to be nothing short of perfect.
The best part is you can make this with spices you probably already have in your spice cabinet. So go ahead and mix some up! It’s easy!

How can there be fiber in a spice?
I’m assuming since the spices are herbs and dehydrated vegetables? So there is a tiny amount of fiber in them. Just following what our recipe calculator came back with. 🙂
