Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus roasted in the oven until asparagus is tender and prosciutto crispy. Such a perfect and easy side dish to add to your next meal.
This side dish came into existence when I had little ingredients sitting in the fridge. I had to get creative.
I absolutely love prosciutto, it is often stocked in our fridge to put on a salad.
Asparagus has been in our fridge lately as I am OBSESSED with it in our Keto Cheese Sauce.
We made up some Keto Chicken Parmesan though and we needed a little bit of veg and something fancy looking to pair with the dinner. Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus happened and it’s one of my husbands favorite ever since.
To be honest it is a huge favorite of mine because it is SO EASY to make and it looks so eloquent. We fancy. 😉

How do you know where to cut the ends of asparagus
I wanted to make a mention of this as ever since I was taught it it has helped prevent from getting any chewy asparagus bottoms.
To check where you need to trim the bottoms of each asparagus, bend each stalk and where it snaps is where it needs to be cut. You can generally do this with one or two and then measure out the rest if they are all generally the same size.

Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus
Ingredients
- 1 pound asparagus (about 16 stalks, washed and trimmed
- 1.5 Tablespoon olive oil
- 8 slices prosciutto
- dash salt
- dash pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- On a baking sheet toss asparagus and olive oil together.
- Separate into 4 bundles. Wrapped 2 slices of prosciutto around each bundle of asparagus.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes, or until asparagus is tender and prosciutto is crispy.
