This almost doesn’t qualify as a real recipe. But it’s low carb, fast, easy and totally tasty for zero net carbs. Not a bad deal if you’re really into mochas!
Truth be told, I’ve never really liked mochas from a coffee shop simply because they are usually too sweet for my tastes. And now that I’m eating fewer carbs, it’s even more important to avoid those sugars.
As many of you know, I do my best to avoid dairy, so a mocha really sounded like it was out of the question. But not so!! In fact this was so easy, I couldn’t believe I didn’t think of it sooner!
And if you prefer a peppermint mocha this time of year, you can easily add a drop or two of mint extract. Perfect for the season!!
This recipe is one person, so just multiply it by the number of people you are serving. Like I said, totally easy. Just pour your coffee, add your “creamer” (almond milk) and sweeten to taste. No different than making your usual cup of Joe!
